Group Purpose

We believe that persons drawn to this organization have been so led by the spirit of God, having already been equipped with the tools necessary to become a warrior for Christ. Thus, our objective is to merely encourage such a transition, refining those gifts and talents given by God so that overall, the body of Christ may be up lifted. The word says that if he be lifted up he’ll draw all men unto him. ϒAB and ΛΘΙ are organizations with the sole purpose of ministering the word of God through dance, stepping and theatrics in hopes of kingdom building. “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. “Joshua 1:8-9

Motto

The overall theme for the ϒAB and ΛΘΙ is “Putting God First by Commitment to Servanthood.” “ϒAB and ΛΘΙ.” is dedicated to raising the standard of young men and women who live in today’s society and equipping them to stand firm on the word of God. “ϒAB and ΛΘΙ.” wants to live at that standard and be an example to others of how to get and stay at that level. After “Raising the Standard,” there will be many that try to discourage us and knock you off and out of the place where God has placed us. Instead of them trying to come up to your level, they will try to bring you down to their level. Thus, it is important to “Stand Firm,” (Eph.6: 10-18) with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand your ground. Y.A.B. is going to stand firm in its faith in God and continue to raise and live at the standard in which he has called us to be.

Pledging Policy

Even though any and everybody are free to minister and be ministered to we are looking for men of God who want to be part of a spiritual army that will do the things that no else wants to do. The pledging process is not to exclude anybody, but is in place to find those truly dedicated to serving God and working, without faint, for Him. The pledge process tends to focus on community projects, learning more about the organization, how to become a more effective leader, and showing thyself to be a solider for the Lord.

Pledging involving hazing or involving the person(s) in activities in which the person does not feel comfortable with is strictly forbidden and should not be conducted by any member of ϒAB and ΛΘΙ. Person(s) should not accept or be subjected to any form of hazing as outlined in the hazing policy. All applicants must complete the application form and pay the $20 dues that are required. Included with the application you must have 2 letters of recommendation included.
